Seven Lakes & Iskandarkul Tour from Samarkand Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1: Samarkand – Panjakent – Seven Lakes

08:00 – Hotel pickup in Samarkand
Meet your Uzbek driver at your hotel and depart for the Jartepa border.

09:00 – Border crossing
Complete the border formalities and cross on foot. Meet your Tajik driver on the other side and continue towards Panjakent.

10:00 – Panjakent Bazaar
Enjoy approximately 40 minutes exploring the local market, browsing regional products, and observing daily life.

10:40 – Drive to the Seven Lakes
Travel through mountain villages and scenic valleys towards the Seven Lakes, also known as Haft Kul.

12:10 – Begin exploring the lakes
Discover Nezhigon, Soya, and Gushor, with short stops to admire the scenery and take photographs.

12:40 – Traditional lunch at Nofin Lake
Pause for lunch before continuing your journey into the mountains.

14:00 – Upper lakes
Continue past Khurdak Lake to Marguzor Lake, followed by Hazorchashma, the seventh lake, subject to road and weather conditions.

Enjoy free time for walking, photographs, or relaxing beside the water. Those interested can choose an optional hike from the sixth to the seventh lake, with the afternoon schedule adjusted accordingly.

16:00 – Transfer to your guesthouse
After exploring the lakes, drive to your guesthouse in the Seven Lakes area. Check in, enjoy dinner, and rest.

Overnight: Guesthouse in the Seven Lakes area.

Day 2: Seven Lakes – Zarafshan Valley – Iskandarkul

After breakfast, depart for Iskandarkul. Drive through the picturesque Zarafshan Valley, passing mountain villages and stopping along the way for photographs and lunch.

Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation in the Iskandarkul area before heading out to explore.

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeshore, admiring the turquoise water and surrounding peaks. Follow the trail to Iskandarkul Waterfall and visit nearby Snake Lake if time permits.

Spend the evening relaxing in the mountain setting and enjoying dinner at your accommodation.

Overnight: Accommodation in the Iskandarkul area.

Day 3: Iskandarkul – Panjakent – Samarkand

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning with time for a short lakeside walk and photographs before beginning the return journey.

Drive back through the mountains towards Panjakent and continue to the Jartepa border.

After completing border formalities and crossing on foot, meet your Uzbek driver for the transfer to Samarkand.

The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
