Itinerary
Day 1: Samarkand – Seven Lakes
- 08:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Samarkand by our Uzbek driver.
- 09:00 AM – Arrival at the Uzbek–Tajik border. Cross on foot for a faster and smoother process.
- 09:30 AM – Meet your Tajik driver on the Tajik side.
- 10:00 AM – Arrive at Panjakent Bazaar. Enjoy a 1-hour stop to explore the local market and do some shopping.
- 11:00 AM – Begin scenic drive to the Seven Lakes (Haft Kul), passing through picturesque mountain villages and valleys.
- 12:10 PM – Arrival at the 1st Lake – Nezhigon. Continue lake exploration with short scenic stops:
- 12:20 PM – Soya Lake
- 12:30 PM – Gushor Lake
- 12:40 PM – Nofin Lake (Traditional lunch here)
- 02:00 PM – Khurdak Lake
- 02:10 PM – Marguzor Lake
- 02:20 PM – 7th Lake – Hazorchashma
- 03:00 – 03:50 PM – Free time for walking or light hiking around Lake 7. Optional 4 km hike from Lake 6 to 7 (400 m elevation) for those interested.
- 04:00 PM – Check in at the guesthouse.
- Evening – Dinner at the guesthouse and free time to relax.
Day 2: Seven Lakes – Samarkand
- Morning – Breakfast at the guesthouse. Time to relax, enjoy short hikes, or explore the surroundings.
- 04:00 PM – Pick-up from guesthouses. Drive back to the Uzbek–Tajik border, cross on foot, and meet your Uzbek driver.
- 06:20 PM – Drop-off at your hotel in Samarkand.
