Arrival in Tashkent. Upon arrival, meet your driver at the airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Hotel check-in is available from 14:00. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax and recover after your journey.

Meet your professional local guide and begin a full-day exploration of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan and the largest city in Central Asia. Start at the Courage Monument, dedicated to the resilience of Tashkent’s residents following the devastating 1966 earthquake. Continue to the atmospheric Old City, where you will visit the Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi and explore the historic Khast-Imam Complex. Admire the exterior of the impressive Center of Islamic Civilization before taking a pleasant walk along the newly developed Zarkaynar Street. Continue to the lively Chorsu Bazaar, one of Tashkent’s most famous traditional markets, followed by a visit to a local pottery gallery showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich ceramic traditions. Experience another highlight of the capital with a ride on the beautifully decorated Tashkent Metro as you make your way toward the modern city centre. Enjoy free time for lunch on Taras Shevchenko Street, a popular area known for its restaurants and cafés. In the afternoon, visit the State Museum of Applied Arts, home to an impressive collection of traditional Uzbek craftsmanship. Afterwards, admire the elegant exterior of the Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre before concluding your sightseeing at Amir Timur Square, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. After check-in and some time to refresh, meet your local guide and begin an afternoon sightseeing tour of Old Bukhara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved historic cities along the Silk Road. Explore the magnificent Poi-Kalyan Complex, including the iconic Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, and Miri-Arab Madrasah. Continue to the historic Magoki-Attori Mosque and visit the impressive Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasahs. Begin your second day in Bukhara with a guided tour of some of the city’s most important historical and cultural landmarks. Start with the impressive Ark Fortress, the ancient citadel that once served as the residence of Bukhara’s rulers. Continue to the elegant Bolo-Khauz Mosque, followed by visits to the Samanid Mausoleum, one of the oldest surviving monuments of Islamic architecture in Central Asia, and the historic Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum. Next, travel to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the former summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara. The palace is particularly notable for its distinctive combination of traditional Oriental design and European architectural influences. Continue to the Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi, an important spiritual and pilgrimage site located just outside the city. Complete the sightseeing program with a visit to the House Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev, offering an insight into the lifestyle and history of a wealthy Bukhara merchant family. Early in the morning, transfer to Bukhara Railway Station and board the regular train to Khiva. Train: Bukhara – Khiva Departure: 05:32 Arrival: 12:04 Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and some time to refresh. In the afternoon, meet your local guide and begin exploring Ichan-Kala, the UNESCO-listed historic heart of Khiva. Start with the impressive Ata-Darvaza, the main western gateway to the Old City, and continue to the iconic Kalta Minor Minaret and Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah. Visit Kunya-Ark Fortress, the former residence of Khiva’s rulers, before discovering the beautifully decorated Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah. Continue through the atmospheric streets of Ichan-Kala and visit the Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, one of Khiva’s most important architectural and spiritual landmarks. After breakfast, continue your guided exploration of Ichan-Kala, discovering the remaining highlights of this remarkable open-air museum city. Visit the historic Juma Mosque, famous for its impressive collection of traditional carved wooden columns, followed by the Islam Khoja Complex with its distinctive minaret. Continue to the elegant Tash-Khauli Palace, once the main residence of the Khiva khans, and explore the Allakuli Khan Madrasah and surrounding historic trading area. Complete your sightseeing with time to walk along Khiva’s narrow streets, browse local handicraft shops, and enjoy panoramic views of the ancient walled city. After the tour, enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, photography, or independent exploration. In the evening, transfer to Urgench International Airport, approximately 30 km from Khiva, for your domestic flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival in Tashkent, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel by 12:00. The remainder of the day is at leisure until your scheduled transfer to Tashkent International Airport. Proceed to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your journey through Uzbekistan. End of the tour.
